DOPPIETTA PER CORSI E LA SUA SQUADRA A ESTORIL

Podio anche in Gara 2 del Supersport FIM World Championship al Circuito di Estoril per Simone Corsi, che, insieme al suo team, torna a casa con un bottino pieno per la classifica della FIM World SSP Challenge.

Questa mattina, il team di Stefano Renzi è sceso in pista per il Warm-Up, confermando di avere un buon passo per la gara.
Alle 15:15 è scattata Gara 2. Simone, nonostante un’altra buona partenza, ha trovato qualche difficoltà nel trovare il giusto ritmo nella prima parte di gara a causa di uno scarso grip sul posteriore. Da metà gara in poi Corsi è riuscito a recuperare un po’ di feeling tagliando il traguardo in undicesima posizione, conquistando anche la vittoria nell’europeo. Il team romano ha concluso così il weekend nel migliore dei modi portandosi di nuovo in vetta alla classifica Challenge con ben 10 lunghezze di vantaggio dal secondo.

Ora, il Team Renzi Corse scenderà in pista già prossima settimana per la tappa finale di stagione ad Jerez, in Spagna, dal 18 al 20 ottobre.

“Sono molto contento del weekend! Oggi Gara2 è stata un po’ difficile perché mi mancava un po’ di feeling con il posteriore nella prima parte di Gara, ma sono comunque soddisfatto perché rientriamo con buoni punti! Ora ci concentriamo per l’ultima grande sfida di Jerez!”

DOUBLE WIN FOR CORSI AND HIS TEAM AT ESTORIL

Simone Corsi did it again in the second Supersport FIM World Championship race at the Estoril Circuit today, the rider and his team returning home with full points in terms of the FIM World SSP Challenge classification.

Stefano Renzi’s team was on track for warm-up this morning, confirming their strong race pace. Race 2 got underway at 3.15p. Despite making another good start, Simone had a few difficulties getting into a rhythm in the early stages, struggling with a lack of grip at the rear. From mid-race on, Corsi’s feeling improved a little, which allowed the rider to cross the line in eleventh position and score another Challenge win. The Italian team thus rounded out the weekend in the best possible way, moving back into the lead in the Challenge classification, ten points clear of the second-place rider.

Team Renzi Corse will be back on track for next week’s SSP season finale at Jerez, in Spain (18-20 October).
