SIMONE CORSI SI LAUREA CAMPIONE DELLA WORLDSSP CHALLENGE A JEREZ

Si è concluso con gara 2 di oggi l’ultimo round del 2024 del Supersport FIM World Championship al Circuito di Jerez. Simone Corsi ed il Team Renzi Corse, tornano a casa, con un altro podio nella FIM WorldSSP Challenge laureandosi campione europeo.

Questa mattina, il team di Stefano Renzi è sceso in pista per il Warm-Up, confermando di avere un buon passo per la gara. Alle 15:30 è scattata Gara 2. Simone aveva un solo obbiettivo: consolidare la leadership e conquistare il titolo. Dopo un’altra buona partenza, il pilota romano ha riconfermato il buon feeling avuto nel penultimo round di Estoril, entrando subito in lotta per la top ten. Dopo diciassette lap, Simone è riuscito a sorprendere i suoi avversari tagliando il traguardo in decima posizione, conquistando così anche la vittoria nell’europeo. Grazie a questo risultato, il team romano si è laureato, al debutto in stagione, campione europeo della Challenge.

SIMONE CORSI IS CROWNED WORLDSSP CHALLENGE CHAMPION AT JEREZ

The final round of the 2024 FIM Supersport World Championship drew to a close today at the Circuito de Jerez, in Spain. Simone Corsi and Team Renzi Corse return home with another podium in the FIM WorldSSP Challenge, and as European champions.

Stefano Renzi’s team was on track this morning for warm-up, once again proving to have good race pace. Race 2 got underway at 3.15pm and Simone had only one goal – to maintain his championship lead and win the title. Having made another good start, the Italian confirmed the good feeling of Estoril and was immediately in the mix for the top ten. After seventeen laps, Simone was able to surprise his rivals and cross the line tenth, also securing the Challenge race win. This result meant that the Italian team has also secured the European Challenge title in its debut season.
